YouTuber BeerBiceps Faces Legal Trouble Again – Assam Police Issues Summons

top-news

Popular YouTuber and podcast host Ranveer Allahbadia also known as BeerBiceps is once again caught in legal trouble. Assam Police has issued a summons against him over a controversial episode of the YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’. Comedian Samay Raina and several other content creators have also been summoned in connection with the case.

Details & Context

Ranveer Allahbadia, widely recognised for his ‘BeerBiceps’ podcast is facing increasing legal scrutiny. Previously Mumbai Police had called him for questioning and now Assam Police has followed suit. According to reports from ANI another YouTuber and comedian Ashish Chanchlani has also been summoned by Assam Police.

The controversy stems from a recent episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’ hosted by comedian Samay Raina. The episode featured Ranveer Allahbadia as a panellist alongside Ashish Chanchlani. Assam Police has not only summoned these two influencers but also the show’s host Samay Raina comedian Jaspreet Singh and content creator Apoorva Makhija.

Legal Action Against Samay Raina

Mumbai Police’s cyber cell has summoned Samay Raina for the second time regarding this case. Currently he is in the United States for a scheduled show but has been instructed to appear before authorities by February 17th. His legal team has requested an extension. In response to the controversy Samay Raina has removed all related videos from his YouTube channel. Additionally YouTube itself has taken down the disputed episode. Meanwhile reports suggest that Raina’s Gujarat show has also been cancelled due to the ongoing backlash.

Impact on Ranveer Allahbadia

Ranveer Allahbadia is witnessing a sharp decline in social media followers following the controversy. Many celebrities have unfollowed him and some have even withdrawn their participation from his podcast. The backlash has significantly affected his reputation and online presence.

What Sparked the Controversy.?

During the controversial episode Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate remark toward a contestant, asking

“Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to stop it forever.?”

He further questioned the contestant about their genital size. The conversation sparked widespread criticism after clips of the exchange went viral online leading to legal complaints and social media outrage.

The controversy surrounding ‘India’s Got Latent’ has now escalated into a legal matter affecting multiple content creators. While some have apologized and taken corrective measures the backlash continues to grow. With police investigations underway the case could have long-term implications for digital creators and their content policies.
