Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned two recent suicide attacks in Afghanistan that resulted in multiple casualties. The Saudi Foreign Ministry issued a statement denouncing the violence and reaffirming the Kingdom’s unwavering support for Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism and extremism.

Details of the Attacks

- Kunduz Bank Attack (Tuesday)

  - A ‘suicide bomber’ detonated explosives outside a ‘bank in Kunduz’.

  - ‘Eight people lost their lives’, and several others were injured.

  - ‘Daesh claimed responsibility’ stating they targeted ‘Taliban government workers’ collecting salaries.

- Urban Development Ministry Attack (Thursday)

  - A ‘second attack’ occurred near the ‘Ministry of Urban Development and Housing’ in Afghanistan.

  - ‘One person was killed’ and ‘at least three others were injured’.

Saudi Arabia’s Response

The ‘Saudi Foreign Ministry’ firmly rejected these acts of terrorism, calling for an end to violence against innocent civilians. The Kingdom extended its ‘deepest condolences’ to the families of the victims and wished the injured a swift recovery.

Saudi Arabia has consistently voiced support for ‘peace and stability’ in Afghanistan, urging international cooperation to combat ‘extremist threats’.

Saudi Arabia, along with other nations, remains committed to supporting ‘peace efforts’ and ‘protecting Afghan citizens’ from acts of terror.

What’s Next.?
