Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Jordan and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis have become parents for the first time. The royal couple welcomed a baby girl Princess Amina marking a joyous occasion for the Jordanian royal family.
Royal Announcement
Queen Rania of Jordan shared the happy news on social media expressing her excitement over the arrival of her granddaughter.
- “My darling Iman is now a mother. We’re grateful and overjoyed to meet Amina our family’s newest blessing. Congratulations Jameel and Iman - may God bless you and your precious little girl,” she wrote.
The announcement was met with warm wishes from royal followers and well-wishers worldwide.

A Growing Royal Family
Princess Amina is King Abdullah II and Queen Rania’s second grandchild. Their first grandchild was born in August 2024 to Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah and Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein. The baby girl was named Iman, honouring her aunt, Princess Iman.
With this new addition Jordan’s royal family continues to celebrate love, tradition and family values.
