A shocking incident unfolded in Israel as three parked buses exploded in Bat Yam a city near Tel Aviv. The blasts occurred on Thursday sparking fears of a terror attack. Israeli security forces are investigating three consecutive bus explosions in a parking lot in Bat Yam. Reports confirm that two more buses had IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) planted in them which were successfully defused by bomb squads.

Police spokesperson Chaim Sargof noted similarities between these bombs and explosives previously found in the West Bank though he did not disclose further details.

Bat Yam Mayor Zvika Brot stated that the explosions were intense but no one was injured as the buses were empty and parked at the time of detonation.
