A simple social media friendship turned into love but what followed after the breakup was nothing short of a nightmare. A young IT professional was allegedly harassed, threatened and even faced death threats from her ex-boyfriend. The situation escalated when he stormed into her house pulled out a sharp weapon and warned that he would cut her into pieces.

Love on Social Media, Horror in Real Life

According to the victim she met the accused on social media back in 2020 and their relationship lasted until 2023. However when she decided to end the relationship the man allegedly started sending threats.

The woman claims that even before the breakup, her ex had warned her with an acid attack. But after their separation the harassment only got worse.

- He would call her repeatedly from different numbers.

- He allegedly used abusive language and made obscene threats.

- He even threatened to leak their private pictures online.

The Day of Terror

The situation took a dangerous turn when on the afternoon of the incident the accused showed up at her home uninvited. Without warning he pulled a sharp weapon from his bag pointed it at her and threatened to kill her. He reportedly said he would chop her into pieces if she didn’t get back with him.

Realising the danger the woman immediately dialled 100 and called the police for help.

Arrest and Legal Action

Following her complaint police from Kashipur police station rushed to the scene and arrested the accused. A case has been registered against him under the Arms Act and other relevant laws.

What started as a simple online romance turned into a real-life horror story. This case highlights the dangers of online relationships and the importance of taking legal action against harassment.
