top-news

If you ride a bike or scooter without following certain rules you might end up paying a massive fine. The new Motor Vehicle Act has imposed strict penalties and breaking these laws can cost you Rs 25,000.! Find out what the rule says before taking your two-wheeler on the road.

Breaking This Rule.? Be Ready for a Rs 25,000 Fine.!

India's traffic laws are becoming stricter to ensure road safety. Every driver must follow specific rules and violating them can result in hefty penalties. Many people unknowingly break traffic laws and end up paying huge fines.

Under the updated Motor Vehicle Act two-wheeler riders need to be extra cautious. If you fail to follow the rules you might have to pay a Rs 25,000 fine and in some cases your vehicle could even be seized.!

Minors Driving.? Parents Will Be Fined Rs 25,000.!

One of the biggest changes in the Motor Vehicle Act is regarding underage driving. If anyone below 18 is caught riding a bike or scooter they will not only face legal consequences but their parents or guardians will also be fined Rs 25,000.

Here’s what you need to know

️ No License, No Driving – A valid driving license is mandatory for all vehicles.

️ Age Restriction – Only individuals above 18 can legally drive or ride a motor vehicle.

Vehicle Can Be Seized.!

Apart from the hefty fine authorities can seize the vehicle if an underage person is found riding it. The traffic police are now more strict than ever and breaking this law can have serious consequences.

Additionally as per Section 199A of the Motor Vehicle Act parents or guardians may also face legal charges if a minor causes an accident while driving.

Parents Could Even Face Jail Time.!

Reports show a rising number of accidents caused by underage drivers. Due to these alarming statistics traffic police have started strictly enforcing the law.

- If a minor is involved in an accident, their parents or guardians can be jailed.!

- The traffic police will directly issue fines to parents if their child is caught violating the rules.

To avoid these harsh penalties ensure that no underage person in your family is driving or riding a two-wheeler.
