Husband & In-Laws Inject Wife with HIV Over Dowry Dispute.? Shocking Case Come from Haridwar.

top-news

A horrifying case of dowry harassment has surfaced from Haridwar, Uttarakhand where a young woman was allegedly injected with HIV by her husband and in-laws. The victim’s family claims the assault was due to unmet dowry demands. Initially, the police refused to register the complaint but a court order later ensured legal action.

Demand for More Dowry Led to Violence

The incident took place in Jasbawala, Haridwar. According to reports, on ‘February 15th 2023’ a young woman from Uttar Pradesh married ‘Abhishek aka Sachin Saini’ from Haridwar. Her family gave Rs 15 lakh in cash and a car as dowry. However the groom’s family was not satisfied and demanded an additional ‘Rs 15 lakh and an SUV.’

When the bride’s family refused she was subjected to continuous physical and mental abuse by her in-laws. The pressure to bring more money from her parental home intensified.

Thrown Out & Reinstated by Village Panchayat

When the bride’s family stood firm against further dowry demands the in-laws ‘threw her out of the house’. Desperate for justice the woman’s family approached the village panchayat which intervened and ensured her return to her marital home.

However the torture did not stop. She was subjected to ‘inhumane treatment, physical abuse and emotional trauma’.

Injected with HIV...! A Shocking Allegation

According to the victim’s father, the ultimate horror came when her in-laws allegedly ‘injected her with HIV’ to eliminate her. Gradually her health started deteriorating. Upon hospitalisation doctors confirmed that she had ‘contracted HIV’.

Strangely when her husband underwent a medical test, he was ‘not infected’ raising suspicions about foul play. The devastated father approached the police but they initially ‘refused to register a case’.
