Dalit Student Attacked on Way to Exam, Finger Severely Injured

In a shocking incident from Tamil Nadu a Dalit student named Devendran was brutally attacked while on his way to an exam. The attackers attempted to cut off his finger to prevent him from writing the test. His father Thagesh Ganesh also suffered severe head injuries during the assault. The police have detained three suspects, two of whom are minors.
