On March 12th, 2025 a heart breaking incident unfolded in Borni, Hajo, Kamrup district, Assam where the body of a teenage boy named Chintu was discovered. Chintu was a high school student had been missing since March 2nd. Shocking revelations during the police investigation uncovered a tangled web of family conflict and crime, ultimately leading to the tragic end of a young life.

- Who was Chintu.? 

  Chintu was a high school student living with his parents — his father is Nur Islam, and his mother name is unknown.

- What happened.?

  According to the investigation, Chintu’s mother was allegedly involved in an extramarital affair with a man named Saddam. At one point, she ran away with him but later returned to her family after Nur Islam decided to forgive her for the sake of their children.

- The Confrontation

  Tensions escalated when Saddam visited Chintu’s home again, urging Chintu’s mother to run away with him once more. Chintu, angered by the situation, strongly opposed Saddam’s suggestion, leading to a heated argument.

- Chintu Goes Missing

  The very next day, on March 2nd, Chintu went missing. Suspicion quickly fell on Saddam, prompting the local community to hand him over to the police.

    | “My uncle brought the boy tied up. We stabbed him and slit his throat with a knife. Then, we stuffed his body in a sack and threw it under the bridge.”

  Following the confession, the police took Saddam to the bridge where they identified the location. On March 12nd, Chintu’s lifeless body was finally recovered from under the bridge.
