Kolkata: The prices of daily vegetables and others have higher then higher day by day. The task force of the state is also raiding the market to stop the reign of corruption. However, the common peoples is not being spared from the price hike. The Chief Minister of the state Mamata Banerjee has given a strong message about that. She also being a part of the police administration of the state to the witness box. She said that a part of ‘the police administration is also consuming money by the common peoples day by day and the responsibility of which is falling on the shoulders of Trinamool Congress leaders.’ (Mamata Banerjee)

Mamata held a meeting with State Police DG Rajeev Kumar, State Minister Shovandev Chattopadhyay, Becharam Mannad at Navanna meeting hall on Thursday(Today). This meeting was broadcast live. And there, Mamata Banerjee raised a questions about the role of the state police. Her clear is very message, "I don't take a single rupee. Then why should anyone else get escape?" Mamata had given a strict instructions to the traders (businessman) to stop the price increase of potatoes and onions. Potatoes should be sent out of state only after fulfilled the needs of the state, she said strictly. But despite that, the rising price of potatoes could not be stopped. On this day, Mamata Banerjee complained that the price of potatoes and onions in the state is being increased and then being transport to other state. Peoples of our own state are struggling to buy potatoes and onions, while businessman are making their own profit by sending potatoes to others states. 

On this day, Mamata Banerjee said, that "Bangla is a Grain Green State. We grow potatoes and rice here. We bought seeds from the central state at a high price. And those potatoes are going out of state! I said, before our needs will be fulfilled with new potatoes, otherwise potatoes can be sent out of state. I said not to go out, now I see that they are doing export. Why did you raise the price in our state, and I will insure the farmers, I have to show both stocks. On this day, Mamata Banerjee also reshuffled the responsibility of the marketing department of state agriculture and agricultural products. Becharam Manna made the Chairman of Agricultural Products of the Marketing Department of the state. Apart from monitoring the entire situation, and Mamata Banerjee also said to report to her from time to time. 

She also said to the DG, "Take action now on some issues. You may be trying, but the local police are not doing it well. Politicians are more defamed. If you take 5 rupees, they will said 500. But politicians think ten times before taking money, they have responsibilities. But some low level officers, workers, who don't like TMC, some of our state police are also taking money. Mamata Banerjee can be heard saying today, "Even if CISF taking money, we have the right to catch them. Because if it is stolen, it will be called Trinamool did it. The CISF, a part of the police.
