But that confusing is about to clear. The Indian captain (Rohit Sharma) is leaving India for Australia in soon. According to the Reports that Rohit is set to leave for Australia in few days and he is expected to join the team on the 3rd day of the first Test, November 24. There is a nine days gap between the first Test in Perth and the second Test in Adelaide, the match begins on December 6th 2024, provides Rohit Sharma join on the time to integrate back into the team. Expected Rohit Sharma participate in practice and a warm up match before the second Test. Rohit expected to feature in a two days, day to night warm up match for the India 'A' team against the Prime Minister's XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra on November 30th and December 1st 2024. Meanwhile, the Indian team will lead by Jasprit Bumrah in the first Test. Speaking about Jasprit Bumrah captaincy, Bumrah expressed his gratitude for the opportunity as well, especially in such a critical series like this. "I feel honoured to captain India, particularly in such a high pressure situation," Bumrah said. "Virat is different, Rohit is different, and I have my own style. I have always embraced responsibility, and I’ll give my best for the team. I spoke to Rohit before coming here, and now I have a clear idea of how I want to lead."
