Airtel Recharge Plans Upgrade...! New Offers at Lower Costs....!

top-news

At the beginning of 2025 Airtel India's second largest telecom operator has made significant changes to its popular recharge plans. The company has launched revised plans targeting users who prioritise calling and SMS services over mobile data. Here’s everything you need to know about these updated plans and their benefits.

Rs 499 Prepaid Plan Details

Airtel's Rs 499 prepaid plan is designed for users who primarily rely on unlimited calling and messaging. Key features of the plan include

- Validity: 84 days.

- Unlimited Calling: Stay connected without any call limits.

- SMS Benefits: Get over 900 SMSs during the validity period.

- Additional Perks:

  - Access to Airtel Xstream for entertainment.

  - Apollo 24/7 Circle membership for healthcare assistance.

  - Customisable Hello Tunes.

Earlier priced at Rs 509, this plan previously included 6GB of mobile data which is no longer available. The Rs 10 price reduction makes it more affordable for users who do not require data services.

Rs 1959 Annual Plan

Airtel has also revised its yearly plan to cater to users seeking long-term connectivity without data benefits.

- Validity: 365 days.

- Unlimited Calling: No restrictions on calls.

- SMS Benefits: 3600 SMSs throughout the year.

- Additional Perks:

  - Access to Airtel Xstream.

  - Apollo 24/7 Circle membership for healthcare.

  - Customisable Hello Tunes.

Previously priced at Rs 1999, this plan is now available for Rs 1959 offering a Rs 40 discount. However users will no longer receive the 24GB of mobile data that was earlier included in this plan.

Comparison with Previous Plans

- The Rs 499 plan replaces the Rs 509 plan, with a Rs 10 reduction in price and the removal of data benefits.

- The Rs 1959 annual plan is a slightly cheaper version of the earlier Rs 1999 plan but comes without the 24GB data previously offered.

- For users who prefer the earlier Rs 509 plan features, Airtel has introduced a Rs 569 plan, which retains the original benefits, including mobile data.

Why These Changes,?

Airtel’s revamped plans aim to align with market trends and regulatory directives. Following the footsteps of Reliance Jio, Airtel is focusing on introducing budget friendly options for customers who prioritise calling and messaging over mobile data.

Airtel’s new recharge plans cater to users looking for affordable options without compromising on essential calling and SMS services. With added perks like entertainment and healthcare benefits, these plans offer excellent value for money. If you’re someone who doesn’t rely heavily on mobile data, Airtel’s Rs 499 and Rs 1959 plans are worth considering.
