A shocking accident in Sao Paulo, Brazil has left multiple people injured and caused widespread panic. A small private plane crashed onto a busy road, colliding with a bus and bursting into flames. The tragic incident which resulted in the deaths of the pilot, the plane’s owner and an influencer has gone viral on social media.

The crash occurred in “Barra Funda” a high - traffic area in “downtown Sao Paulo”. The aircraft was en route to “Porto Alegre” but suddenly lost control and crashed near a “bus terminal, train station and office buildings”. The impact was devastating causing a massive fire and thick smoke to engulf the area.

Shocking Viral Video of the Crash

A viral video captured the horrifying moment when the plane plummeted from the sky and crashed into a bus stuck at a traffic signal. The footage shows terrified pedestrians running for safety as flames erupted from the wreckage.

- A woman sitting at the back of the bus was ‘critically injured’. 

- A ‘motorcyclist’ was also ‘severely hurt’ in the accident. 

- ‘Four other people sustained injuries’ and were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Eyewitnesses described the sudden explosion and chaos as ‘firefighters’ rushed to the scene. Thanks to their quick response the fire was contained before it could spread to nearby buildings.

Who Were the Victims.?

Authorities have confirmed the deaths of three individuals

1. Gustavo Carneiro Medeiros – The experienced pilot had over ‘5,000 flight hours’.

2. Marcio Lujeda Carpena – A well-known influencer, lawyer and father of three. He often shared his luxurious lifestyle on social media.

3. An unidentified passenger also lost their life in the crash.

Cause of the Crash Under Investigation

The reason behind the ‘plane’s sudden loss of control’ remains unknown. Investigators are examining whether it was a ‘technical failure, bad weather, or human error’. Reports suggest the plane had taken off just ‘5 km from the crash site’ before the accident occurred.

This isn’t the first time such an incident has occurred in Brazil. ‘In August last year, a plane crashed into a residential garden, killing 72 people.’
