Ex-Navy SEAL Who Killed Osama Bin Laden Now Runs a Legal Cannabis Business.

top-news

Robert O’Neill the former US Navy SEAL known for eliminating Osama Bin Laden in the 2011 Abbottabad operation has now stepped into the legal cannabis business. With a licensed cannabis brand he aims to help war veterans by donating a portion of his earnings to those who have suffered severe injuries in service.

A Navy SEAL’s New Mission

Robert O’Neill once a key member of the elite US Navy SEALs is now leading a different battle - this time in the legal cannabis industry. His company Operator Canna Co is officially licensed and focuses on producing and distributing cannabis in New York. The revenue generated from the business will be used to support wounded veterans.

From Combat to Cannabis

In 2011 O’Neill played a crucial role in the US military operation that led to the killing of Osama Bin Laden the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks. He was the one who fired the fatal shot. Now after years of military service he has turned his attention to the cannabis industry believing it can help veterans cope with trauma and pain.

Cannabis as a Remedy for Veterans

Speaking to the New York Post O’Neill revealed that he decided to enter the cannabis business after witnessing many of his fellow soldiers suffer from severe injuries and mental health struggles. He believes that cannabis provides relief from chronic pain and PTSD making it a safer alternative to alcohol and prescription drugs.

Military-Inspired Cannabis Products

O’Neill’s brand Operator Canna Co reflects his military background. The product line-up includes unique names inspired by the armed forces, such as,

- Healer Indica – For relaxation and pain relief.

- Warrior Sativa – For boosting energy and focus.

- Shooter Hybrid – A balanced strain for stress relief.

The brand’s logo featuring a cannabis leaf inside a bullseye symbolises precision - much like O’Neill’s marksmanship in the Navy.

Expanding the Business

The company sources cannabis from New York farms and distributes it across Staten Island, Queens, Upper East Side and Manhattan’s SoHo district. O’Neill’s mission is not just to run a successful business but also to contribute to the well-being of veterans by donating a share of profits to those who have lost limbs in combat.

From executing one of the most high-profile military operations in history to launching a cannabis business Robert O’Neill’s journey is a unique one. His new venture not only marks a shift in career but also serves a greater purpose - helping veterans recover and find peace.
