Tragic Collapse of South Korea Highway Under Construction Kills 3, Injures 6.

In a tragic incident on Tuesday an elevated part of a highway under construction collapsed in Cheonan, South Korea killing three workers and injuring six others. The accident happened about 90 kilometers south of Seoul leaving emergency responders rushing to rescue those trapped under the rubble.
Details & Context
Authorities confirmed that ten workers were at the construction site when the elevated structure suddenly gave way. According to the National Fire Agency one worker was found dead at the scene while eight others were rushed to the hospital. Sadly two of them succumbed to their injuries, raising the death toll to three.
Rescue teams continue to search for a missing worker while five of the injured remain in critical condition. Officials have not yet determined the cause of the collapse but an investigation is underway.
South Korea's Acting President Choi Sang-mok has instructed authorities to deploy all necessary personnel and equipment to aid the rescue efforts and ensure the safety of other workers.
