Sanjay Roy has been found guilty in the RG Kar Medical College rape and murder case. The sentencing is set for Monday. However some questions persist is that Sanjay the sole perpetrator or are there others who played a role in this gruesome crime.?
The Verdict So Far
Sanjay Roy was convicted after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) presented strong evidence including digital and medical records. The court ruled him guilty based on the investigation's findings. However Sanjay maintains his innocence claiming he has been framed.
Unanswered Questions
The victim's family and some medical professionals involved in protests claim the case has deeper layers. They believe others may also be involved, raising doubts about the completeness of the investigation.
Additional Charges
Apart from Sanjay former RG Kar Medical College principal Sandeep Ghosh and former Tala Police Station Officer in Charge Abhijit Mondal were arrested for allegedly tampering with evidence. However due to the CBI's failure to file a supplementary charge sheet within 90 days both were granted bail.
