Traffic Police Helps Student Who Forgot Admit Card Ensures Timely Exam Entry.

A secondary school student in West Bengal’s Bhangar faced a major problem when they forgot their admit card at home on the first day of the board exams. Fortunately the traffic police came to the rescue ensuring the student reached the exam center on time with the required document.


Details & Context

On the first day of the secondary board exams, a student arrived at “Chandipur Rangsara High School” only to realize at the gate that the admit card was left at home. Panic-stricken the student sought help from the “Bhangar Traffic Guard” who quickly took charge of the situation.

Understanding the urgency the traffic police officers accompanied the student home on a bike, retrieved the admit card and safely dropped them back at the exam center before the exam started. The quick response and responsible action of the police ensured that the student did not miss this crucial test.

The student and their family expressed gratitude for the timely intervention of the traffic police. The school authorities and local residents also praised the officers for their kindness and commitment to helping students.


Exam Security and Traffic Management

- This year’s secondary exams began today and will continue until February 22nd.

- A total of 9,84,753 students are appearing for the exams with 4,28,803 boys and 5,55,950 girls.

- Compared to last year 62,000 more students are taking the exams this time.

To prevent malpractice, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has issued strict guidelines

No mobile phones or electronic devices are allowed inside the exam center.

Parking restrictions are in place near exam centers.

Traffic diversions may be enforced by on-duty officers if needed.
