In a shocking turn of events, police have arrested two women, reportedly a mother and daughter in connection with the Ahiritola murder case. It has been revealed that the duo was living in a rented house in Madhyamgram but their behaviour had raised suspicion among neighbours due to the presence of unfamiliar visitors.

On Tuesday morning the body of a woman was discovered stuffed in a trolley bag in Ahiritola, causing a stir in the local community. During the investigation police detained two women - Falguni Ghosh and her mother Arati Ghosh - who were allegedly involved in disposing of the body.
The investigation revealed that the mother-daughter duo had been staying in a rented house in Madhyamgram for some time. However, neighbours reported that they barely interacted with anyone in the area.
